OpenAire
OpenAire combines a laptop carrying case, work surface, and chair into a lightweight hybrid that can enable computing anywhere. The system consists of a semi-rigid protective sleeve designed as an ergonomic laptop work surface and a protective shell that also functions as a comfortable seat.
Today's itinerant workforce continues to blur the boundary between work and leisure, between home and office. OpenAire is portable furniture that complements the freedom of choice created by wireless network technology. By introducing a system that encourages spontaneity, we can shift the current ideology of the workplace from being stationary to being more fluid and mobile. Additionally, OpenAire makes work on trains, buses, and in airports more comfortable and convenient.
Nomadic workers take advantage of mobile technology, and increasingly cities are building a wireless infrastructure utilizing multiple wireless hotspots and WiMax. This innovation will empower a mobile workforce that sees the urban environment as an open slate to be adapted to any work or leisure activity desired.
The form factor of the laptop case is sculpted with a unique contour that fits the user’s lap while sitting in various positions. It positions the laptop to reduce strain on the wrists while typing. The case can be fitted with an optional protective shell that opens to become a soft seat, allowing the user to work comfortably in almost any location.
Instructions: OpenAire can go from a shoulder bag to a mobile workspace in no time. Simply remove and open the protective shell/seat and sit down on it. Place the computer case in your lap, unzip, open the lid, and get to work. It’s that easy! If you don’t plan to use the seat you can simply leave it at home. Either way, the system can be set up and broken down in seconds.
Fluid Rocker
The Fluid Rocker’s soft curves and ergonomic form make it as inviting to look at as it is to sit in. The chair’s flowing organic shape is achieved through a one piece fiber glass construction with a high-gloss finish. For added comfort and texture, a layer of soft natural felt wraps over the entire outer face of the chair. On the upper side of the chair, the felt provides added cushion for sitting, while on the underside of the chair it provides for quieter, softer rocking, and protection for your floors.

Eager to bring a distinctive texture and pattern to clothes, we created PERF after discovering the potential of using laser cutting technology to transform the everyday t-shirt into something extraordinary. Unique patterns are found on each PERF item. We prefer to wear them with a colored t-shirt underneath, but we leave that up to you.
